Astro-Photo Exhibition

We organized one day Astro-Photo exhibition on 5 May 2017 in Pokhara, Nepal. The event was very successful to circulate the importance of astronomy and inspire citizens towards astronomy and science activities. The program was organized in association with Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara Secondary School and Navodit Institute of Multiple Studies (NIMS) Pokhara, Nepal. It was a public event where photos related to astronomy and space sciences were displayed followed by solar observation and night sky observation session.

Pokhara Yuri's Night Star Party 2017


Pokhara Astronomical Society (PAS), a pioneer organization in the field of Astronomy and Space Science, celebrated 57th Yuri’s Night on 12th April 2017 in Pokhara, Nepal. The program was organized in association with Arunya Jyoti Pustakalya kundhar-13 Pokhara. Mr. Sabin Gautam, Program coordinator, gave a talk about the importance and achievement of human in space exploration among participants. Participants were from different age groups from 8 years old to 53 years old.  Interaction with participant about human space exploration and space science education was very fruitful and effective.
